ABOUT ME

​

I have many years of experience of portrait painting and drawing

and have completed many successful commissions for clients in the UK

​
I have been painting and drawing from an early age, and I joined the local art club as a junior member. 

and later attended Glasgow School of Art portraiture classes.

trained as signwriter/artist in Glasgow

taught adult evening art classes in my early 20s locally

also later taught art and computer publishing in an adult training centre Cumbernauld

managed art dept. in a small sculpture studio in Glasgow

with various other art related appointments over the years.

Now many years on I now work from my home studio and specialise in creating genuine artist portraits of people and pets for clients,  using photos as a reference.
